Who better as a subject to work on than my faithful co-worker named Chumpy.
Just working on a few new techniques here and working with some new watercolours.
He thinks he's a person so I gave him the Sir tag.
Painting stage using my new Holbein artists watercolour paints.
The original pencil sketch which is scanned and worked back into the painted version to keep that traditional look.

Long live Sir Chumpy Boy! Gorgeous work! I'm still stuck on the edge of the pool when it comes to digital illustration, i keep going to dive in then get distracted by my new pens or shiny tubes of paint. Ah well, I'll dive on in some time.
