Welcome!

I was asked to help kit out the design studio of Red Meets Blue.  They wanted something simple for the stairwell wall running up towards the RedMeetsBlue sign.  Using some paint marker pens here to create the simple welcome line work for the studio. More work to go with a boardroom wall piece. check it out

The TIGER

Just finished reading The Tiger by John Vaillant and I had a visual I wanted to illustrate so here it is.  The book follows the true story of a tiger that is stalking and killing men in a small town in far east Russia.  The tiger is unusually large for the area so I wanted to show that sense of scale between the tiger and the man and the stalking nature of the tiger amidst the eerie calm of the cold Primorye forest.

Working with a few new brushes here, let me know what you think?

The Eels

I saw the Eels in LA when my girlfriend and I were there earlier this year.  It was a great show and they're one of my favourites so here's a little tribute to those hombre lobos.

Smooth Lines

Just got back from a long break overseas and decided I really need to keep this thing updated.  Inspired by my new Koastal skateboard and the legendary photography of Dick Hoole I've created this piece. Working on a few new techniques here I picked up from my travels in the US and making a bit of a tribute to the unreal Californian coast and my brothers in the Cuskies boardriding club.  I've rediscovered my love of surfing, skating and music lately... we'll see where this takes my art.  I'll be posting at least 1 image a week from now on, so let me know what you think...

Adios

Jake's Balloon Blast

Just finished the 3rd in the Jake's series titled Jake's Balloon Blast.  This was the most fun and easiest to illustrate of the three.  We've just signed on for 3 more so keep an eye out.

Here's a sneak peak of JBB:

Jake's Monster Mess

I haven't posted anything for a while... I've been flat out, but it's no excuse.
I've decided to make a conscious effort to post regularly with little sketches and development work for projects I'm working on.  Here is the first of many more to come...

I got my hands on a copy of my latest book, Jake's Monster Mess, written by Ken Spillman.  We're starting to kick a few goals with the series and I just finished work on the 3rd titled Jake's Balloon Blast.  I'll post some more on that later but for now here's a sneak peek of JMM - in stores early May. Enjoy!
